Tigray hits more copper mineralization in Ethiopia
Canada’s Tigray Resources said it hit more copper mineralization near drillings it has conduced at its Terakimti prospect, in the Harvest project in Ethiopia. In December, the junior miner reported as much as 74 meters grading 3.77% copper, 1.31 grams of gold per tonne, 14 g/t of silver and 0.72% zinc at the prospect, and now it has unveiled other good results from the area.
Latest drilling returned 41 metres at 3.24% copper, 1.19 g/t gold, 25 g/t silver and 1.19% zinc, triggering optimism at Tigray. In a statement, the miner said the results showed “continued robust development” in the deposit. Now the miner is readying a new drilling campaign in Harvest, dedicated to the Mayshehagne target.
