U.S. junior miner TurkPower has agreed to buy Zinco do Brasil, which goes for zinc in the South American nation, changing the name of the surviving entity to Zinco do Brasil, Inc. The deal was signed with Ouro do Brasil Holdings and IMS Engenharia Mineral for an undisclosed sum.

TurkPower has interests in metals ventures in Russia and Turkey, currently in the process of evaluating its options and defining its strategy.
